Traditional British bakes await your order!
As a transplanted Brit who spent childhood holidays in Hatch End baking with her grandfather, Laine Miller missed the tastes of home. In 2006, at the urging of friends and family, Laine opened
a (very) small batch British bakery. No items are inventoried or “flash frozen” and thawed prior to shipping. Everything is freshly baked or steamed to order. Special requests are always welcome.
Think of Laine as your personal British baker. You can now savour the terrific taste of Britain without leaving the U.S.!
We work with local southwestern North Carolina vendors to source the freshest ingredients ~ honey and eggs to name a few, along with vendors of authentic British ingredients, such as black treacle and Irish wholemeal flours, to ensure the highest quality.
We love what we do and hope that is evident in every scrummy buttery bite.
